SouthEast Asia Development Outlook 2007

Few days ago, I browsed several sites to look for economic data of several country especially their economic data year 2007. There are famous sites provide common data like www.adb.org, www.wto.org, even www.cia.gov and many world organization websites I visit. Now, I would like to share a file I got from Asian Development Bank which consist of:

It throws a spotlight on a variety of structural issues in developing Asia, discussing prospects over the next few decades which will depend on how the region responds and adapts to a constantly changing environment.

The chapter on growth amid change in developing Asia shows that those countries who have sustained fast growth in developing Asia have both successfully industrialized and expanded services. In most Asian countries, fostering both industry and services is the only viable development model. The following elements are crucial for this:

• investment that expands opportunities for productivity gains and provides infrastructure services that are vital for economies of scale and other benefits
• institutions that lower risks and uncertainty for businesses
• markets that support labor mobility
• institutions that provide social protection "

Short Time For Blogging

Likely for next few months, I'll be so busy for my work office, I got a new assignment from my boss. Well, everyday I should collect as many as data from any source content economy, business, politic data of a country in my region. Therefore as my new assignment here, the time to browse about trend in internet may no longer I post here. So, I have idea to post a new topic which is not very popular among blogger. My new topic is about database of economic of some country, especially for my focus task. The data will update every month even I have to report it to my boss every Monday. This kind of data may consist GDP, Trade Balance, demography, export, import, regional relationship, bilateral relationship, etc.
